Adamu is a chartered Accountant with diverse experience ranging from Manufacturing, FMCG and Financial services industry.

Prior to joining Red Star Oil and Gas, He was the Head, Finance and Administration at Sanda Tireda Limited, a FMCG company with presence in North-West Nigeria. He also worked with Muhtari Dangana and Co. (Chartered Accountants) in Abuja as Audit Associate, and BUA Group Limited, Kano Office as Accounts officer.

Adamu Led and Participated in teams providing professional financial assurance services (Audit and Financial Reporting) majorly in Oil and Gas industry and Pension Fund Administrators, with clients that include The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Joint Tax Board (JTB), Nigerian Universities Pension Company Limited (NUPEMCO) and NPF Pensions Limited.

He holds Bachelor of Science in Economics (Second class Upper division) and Master of Science in Economics from Bayero University Kano. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxtation of Nigeria (CITN).

Adamu currently heads the finance and Accounts department at Red Star Oil and Gas Limited as Financial Controller from February 2022.
